Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?
I started together with my dad when I was around 13 since we just needed something to do. We really took to it, and here I am. |
What Do You Love About the Sport?
Absolutely anyone can learn to be competitive, you just need to put in the time and effort. The skill floor is very low, but the skill ceiling is so high, so no matter what point you’re at in bowling, you can always find people at your level and people that make you strive to get to their level. |
Favorite Bowling Memory
My first PBA 300 was pretty cool. 2022 was my first year out attempting the regional tour, and I actually ended up making matchplay for the first time in Lockport, IL. My first match was against Kevin Mccune, who went on to win Midwest Regional Tour AND PBA National Tour rookie of the year, and I didn’t have a look at all. My room mate told me to slow my feet down and I managed to 4 count for my last shot in practice. I somehow struck the next 12. |
Who is Your Favorite Bowler?
Belmo. It’s impossible to deny the talent, and I have tons of respect for the amount of domination that he’s had on the tour. I met him for the first time at a Pro- Am over a decade ago before he was anyone, and something about him always stuck with me. It’s not every day you meet such a gentle soul outside of competition and a fierce competitor on the lanes. |
Awards & Achievements
I have a PBA 300 and a top 5 regional finish. I led a team in highschool to a NIAA regional title and had second place at the state championship in 2012. I hope to add more PBA related accolades in the near future. |
Bowling Accomplishments
I have a few sanctioned 300s, and 1 PBA 300 that I’m especially proud of. I believe 808 is my highest at this time. |
