Giselle Poss
player profile
I’m 27 years old and I’m from Montgomery, IL (a tiny town outside of Chicago) and I started bowling when I was 6 years old. My home center is Fox Bowl in Wheaton, IL.
I bowled collegiately at Vanderbilt University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. I bowled on Team Puerto Rico from 2015-17 and got to experience international competition and travel for the first time.
Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?
My parents were trying to get me into sports and it was the one sport I fell in love with. I’m a third-generation bowler so it must be in my blood. It’s always been something my dad and I have done together which I love.
What Do You Love About the Sport?
I love that most of the people I love in my life I found through bowling! It’s given me the opportunity to travel abroad and compete internationally. I’ve made lifelong friendships through this sport and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for.
Favorite Bowling Memory
Bowling on TV for the first time when I made the PWBA St. Petersburg-Clearwater show in 2017.
Who is Your Favorite Bowler?
My all-time favorites are Kelly Kulick and Shannon O’Keefe.
